Yesterday, officers responded to reports of suspicious activity at TK Maxx, Kingsway Retail Park. It was discovered that individuals were using a magnet to detag items inside the store.
Thanks to swift action by the staff and officers from our section team, three people were arrested at the scene, and the stolen items were recovered.
This is a reminder that we take shoplifting and related offences seriously, especially during the busy festive period. Our officers will continue to carry out high-visibility patrols to keep our community and businesses safe.
